Metro Wastewater Reclamation District SPI -14
to the site during the filling operation. Based on the delivery rates provided, it is anticipated that the
maximum timeframe between filling operations is approximately two to eight weeks depending on
contractor phasing. Based on the Contractor's preliminary schedule, spoils delivery will occur continuously
between approximately September 2013 and September 2014.
In conclusion, the Metro District believes it will be able to deliver up to 75,000 CY of suitable pipeline spoils
to Debetz Pit within the approximate one year duration of construction in which spoils are produced.
Depending on contractor means and methods, the total quantity of spoils may be as low as 55,000 CY. It is
understood that Adams County Parks & Community Development must obtain a Conditional Use Permit
(CUP) from Adams County Planning and a Floodplain Use Permit (FUP) from Adams County Public Works
prior to the SPI Contractor beginning spoils delivery to the Debetz Pit site. Should issuance of the CUP or
FLIP be delayed beyond the start of SPI construction, the Metro District may deliver spoils elsewhere until
such time as the County obtains all necessary permits and issues a written request for spoils delivery in
accordance with the terms of the December 2010 IGA. This may reduce the total quantity of spoils
delivered to Debetz Pit below the value presented herein.
3
