The May 2013 Discharge Monitoring <br />Report for the above referenced CDPS Permit were received by the Division on 03 July 2013; the <br />reports cover the time period from 01 May 2013 through 30 May 2013. <br /> <br />During the month of May 2013 outfalls 002A(Pond T), 003A(Pond B), 005A, 005W, MON5 (Pond D), <br />006A (Pond E), 007W, MON7 (Pond F), and 008A(Pond G) flowed. Outfall 004A(Pond C) did not <br />flow during the month. <br /> <br />During the month two exceednaces for total suspended solids (TSS) were noted at Outfall 003A for 7- <br />day maximum and 30-day average. The TSS values for each week of the month were 13, 118, 65, and <br />37 mg/L. <br /> <br />It is noted that based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety and the Water Quality Control Division (WQCD), the WQCD will be responsible for <br />enforcing CDPS permit conditions including exceedances of TSS. <br /> <br />If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
