<br />mltted a complete application for a
<br />technical revision to the Division of
<br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety for Its
<br />Roadside North and South Portals,
<br />mining permit No. C•1991.041. The
<br />proposed revision will approve the
<br />removal of various slit fences located
<br />at the A Substation, 2 West Portals
<br />and South Fan area. Gress filter de•
<br />signs demonstrate that the slit fences
<br />are no longer required. -
<br />The Roadside mines are located ap.
<br />proximately three miles northeast of
<br />Palisade, CO at the Interstate 70,
<br />Cameo Exit No.46. The permit area Is
<br />split east and west by $he Colorado i
<br />River and 1.70, and is eheompassed
<br />within the followingg lands:
