Pineda <br />Director <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 6 (RN -6) <br />Trapper Mine (Permit No. C- 1981 -010) <br />Dear Mr. Luke: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal application for <br />coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. on June 20, <br />2012 for the Trapper Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.08.5(3)(b) of the Rules and Regulations of the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed <br />decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of the public <br />notice by the Division in the Craig Daily Press. <br />The Surface mine is located approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Township 5 North, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 31, Township 6th North, Range 90 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 25, 26, 28, 33, 34, 35, and 36, Township 6 North, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address <br />and at the Moffat County Clerk and Recorder.
