Re: Coal Exploration File Nos. X- 2006 - 109 -13, SL -1 <br />Dear Mr. McCourt: <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the partial <br />release of coal exploration reclamation liability of Colowyo Coal Company for Notice of Intent No. <br />X- 2006 - 109 -13. A Bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes in <br />Moffat County. An inspection showed that all of the disturbances proposed for release have been <br />adequately reclaimed or mined through and covered by the reclamation of Colowyo Mine's permit <br />#C- 1980 -019. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: Sec.9,16 -20 T3N R93 W. <br />The Division currently holds a corporate surety in the amount of $134,871.00 for X- 2006 - 109 -13. <br />The Division proposes to release $134,622.00 and retain $249.00 for the vegetation at the sites and <br />access roads to ST -07 -01 and ST- 07 -03. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, to the Division at the address above within 30 days of the second publication of <br />the proposed decision in the Craig Daily Press. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Elliott R.
