Attached you will find the most current map, form 110c, and a
check for the annual fee of $323.00. This letter will serve as the annual report.
Stabilization: High wall stabilization was accomplished in 2007. The area was seeded
with Native Grass mix at that time. The Town started top soiling the east wall of the pit in
September of 2009. Cost and availability of Top Soil has been problematic, but is
reserved and applied as it becomes available. There has been no further activity since
2009.
Weed Management: The Town continues to actively monitor and practice noxious
weed management in the pit area. JDOT of Gunnison handles the Town's weed
eradication in the pit and adjacent area.
Material Export: There have been no new disturbances during the previous year.
Sincerely,
TOWN OF CRESTED BUTTE,
A Colorado rule municipality
By:
Rodney/Oue, Director of Public Works
