c/ yak Q '
Braun -
,J
Braun Environmental, Inc.
355 S. Teller St., Suite 200, Lakewood, Colorado 80226 Office: 303 - 988 -7697
June 27, 2013
Tim Cazier
✓ Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DORMS)
1313 Sherman, Room 215
Denver Colorado 80203
Dear Mr. Cazier:
- zo2 -o52
888 - 988 -7697 Fax: 303-697-2140
RECEIVED
--J'UN Vnll
DIVISION OF WyQ#FL"
MINING ANA W9JY
I have reviewed your letter dated June 18, 2013 concerning the letter sent to you by Teller County
Planner, Ms. Fetrow, dated June 14, 2013. The statement made by Ms. Fetrow, asserting that the Teller
County Clerk and Recorder's office had not received a copy of the l 10 Mining Permit Application is a
blatant misrepresentation of the facts. I am are not sure what happened with her office or why she was
unable to find the document.
As shown on our receipt (included in the 110 application package sent to you) from the Teller County
Clerk and Recorder's office, a copy of the permit application was hand delivered to them on June 4, 2013
by me, as the consultant. In fact, I hand delivered it shortly after they reopened after lanzh. The receipt
(No 036093) shows my name clearly printed, and then Shannon Murphy's name substituted to be
consistent with the permit application. Following receipt of your letter yesterday, Gloria Watson stopped
by the Clerk and Recorder's office on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 and found the permit application to be
exactly where they had placed it on June 4, 2013.
In order to provide you additional evidence, Teller County Deputy Clerk and Recorder, Teresa Stitt, was
kind enough to hand -write a note on the bottom of the original submittal memorandum confirming that
her office had received it on June 4, 2013 (attached). That is about all the proof we can provide to you
for now. Since you were in Cripple Creek on June 20, 2013, and I was unable to reach you by phone, I
spoke with Tom Kaldenbach, and suggested to him that word be passed to you to stop by the Teller
County Court House and check for yourself. If you did stop, you no doubt found it, and if you did not. She was out of town last week for a few days, but is fully aware of the
document and its location.
In the future, I still recommend that you just call me with a simple question like; that, instead of writing
an accusatory letter.
Sincerely,
BRAJE L, INC.
A. un'
enc.
cc
Tony Waldron
Tom Kaldenbach
