As we discussed and confirmed by the EA addressing Federal Coal Lease COC- 74813, there
are no standing archaeological structures within the area that may be impacted by subsidence.
Additionally, all known archaeological sites within the expansion area are identified in the reports
previously submitted as part of this permit revision.
14. While we feel that inclusion of reference to the BLM and SHPO is important to maintain the
context of the subsidence related archeological monitoring plan, these references have been removed
as is requested. Revised page III -22 and a revised monitoring plan are enclosed.
15. This issue was addressed as part of 414 above.
If you have any further questions please contact me at 970 - 675 -4322.
Sincerely,
Scott Wanstedt
Environmental Engineer
swanstedt(adeserado.com
enc:
cc: Jeff Dubbert w/o Foster Kirby - OSMRE
Paul Daggett — BLM
