RECLAMATION COSTS
EXHIBIT L
The worst case reclamation scenario will occur when Phase 1 of the expansion area is mined out.
At this point in time, most of the Camilletti area will need topsoil and seeding, and the new
disturbed area will require backfilling and grading. The reclamation tasks breakdown as follows:
1. Remove all facilities and equipment including fuel farm and processing plants. $5,000
2. Backfill expansion area highwall to 3HAV slope. 28,333 CY @ $1.25 /CY = $35,416
3. Topsoil disturbed areas to a depth of 12 inches. 48.0 acres @ 12 inches = 77,440 CY @
$1.25 /CY = $96,800
4. Seed all dryland areas with the approved seed mix. 48.0 acres @ $200 /acre = $9,600
5. Mulch dryland areas, 200 lbs /acre. 48.0 acres @ $400 /acre = $19,200
Worst case reclamation costs for this scenario are shown in Table L -1 below:
Hayden Gravel Pit, May 2013 L -1
