W <br />"Mme <br />Production drilling was performed during this reporting period within the planned PSSA limits and several locations <br />within the Phase I Squaw Gulch VLF. Material generated was transported by several 777 haul trucks and used as <br />structural fill within the HWY 67 embankment. <br />An Amec field representative monitored structural fill material temperatures placed within the Phase I Squaw Gulch <br />VLF and the Hwy 67 embankment during all shifts. Average structural fill temperatures were above 32 °F <br />Secondary Underdrain: <br />No work was performed on the Secondary underdrain during this reporting period. <br />A total of 1380 feet of Secondary underdrain has been completed. <br />Primary Underdraln: <br />No work was performed on the Primary underdrain during this reporting period. <br />A total of 1280 feet of Primary underdrain has been completed. <br />Underdrain Ponds: <br />Concrete for the underdrain Ponds is complete, no other work was performed. <br />Field inspections and field concrete testing results meet all requirements as specified. <br />Tree /Slash Clearing, Chipping: <br />Seed Masters continued chipping stockpiled trees and slash during this reporting period. Chipping is expected to <br />continue. One "Chipper" and two CAT 330 excavators were in operation. <br />B) Underground Workings <br />During this reporting period no Confirmatory drilling was performed. <br />During this reporting period no exploratory excavation was performed. <br />During this reporting period no remediation efforts were performed. <br />C) Highway 67 <br />MHT #2 is in place and is working properly. Highway 67 embankment fill continued during this reporting period. <br />Il) Storm Water Management <br />Best Management Practices (BMP) are being performed. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />l) Field Activities: Construction activities and observation of clearing and grubbing, VLF Phase I fill and compaction, <br />underground workings, HWY 67 embankment fill placement, were some of the field tasks performed during this reporting <br />period as required per project specifications. <br />11) Laboratory Activities: Laboratory testing continued (Permeability, Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, <br />Moisture- Density, gradations and material identifications) and material sampling were some of the laboratory testing <br />performed during this reporting period as required. <br />Page 2 of 6 MLE2 WE 06.01.13.doc <br />
