Ad ID 19253040 Date 06/07/2013 1 Time 2:44 PM <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Colorado Department of Transportation, 606 <br />South 9th Street, Grand Junction, CO 81501, (970) <br />683 -6308, has filed an application for a Construc- <br />tion Materials Limited Impact (110) Reclamation <br />Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board under provisions of the Colorado Land Rec- <br />lamation Act for the Extraction of Construction <br />Materials. <br />The mine is known as the BLM Burnt Shale Pit, <br />and is located at or near Section 9, Township 7S, <br />Range 102W, 6th Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is currently <br />being mined from initial permit number M1985 -170, <br />and the proposed date of completion is September, <br />2030. The proposed future use of the land is <br />Rangeland. <br />Additional information and tentative decision date <br />may be obtained from the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining, and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866 -3567, or <br />at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office; <br />109 8th Street, Suite 200, Glenwood Springs, CO <br />81601, or the above -named applicant. <br />Comments must be in writing and must be re- <br />ceived by the Division of Reclamation, Mining, <br />and Safety by 4:00 p.m on July 18, 2013. <br />Please note that under the provisions of C.R.S. <br />34- 32.5 -101 et seq. Comments related to noise, <br />truck traffic, hours of operation, visual impacts, <br />effects on property values and other social or <br />economic concerns are issues not subject to this <br />Office's jurisdiction.
