6.0 MANAGEMENT SUMMARY
This document provides a treatment plan for four archaeological sites within the proposed
Colowyo Collom Mine Expansion Project area. Implementation of the plan will mitigate
adverse effects to the four sites. The phased approach will provide the most efficient means of
investigating significant buried cultural deposits. In addition, the research design will guide the
excavations by proposing questions that can be answered by the data. The data will then
generate information that is significant to the prehistory of the region. The overall results
obtained from the project will be presented in a comprehensive report to be submitted at the
conclusion of test excavations.
