We will inspect these next week to evaluate the reclamation with the
goal to leaving just the sealing and reclamation of the well /piezometer.
The Division can issue a proposed decision to partially release the the bond for these NOIs, leaving the NOls
active and bonded with a new cost estimate; or a full release of the bond if the wells /piezometers can be
transferred into the mine permit, the Division suggests the following:
• A Minor Revision to the Colowyo Coal Mine's mining permit application that includes:
1. Completion diagrams
2. Permit text narrative discussing these wells
3. Reclamation bond calculations for abandonment
4. A map showing the locations (preferably on the existing hydrology map)
If you have any further questions please call or email me.
spaqw-
303-866-3567 ext. 8147
fax: 303 - 832 -8106
elliott.russell@state.co.us
Well Information Colowyo NOls.xlsx
12K
https: / /mai l.g oog le.com/mai 1 /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i Ire29129fcb5 &view= pt &search =i nbox&th =13f1 a63e5509ae00 1 /1
