EXHIBIT L - MAN -MADE STRUCTURES
The Sangre de Christo Tunnel Permit Area contains no man -made permanent structures other
than the portal of the tunnel portal, numerous old prospect pits, trenches and other mine
openings, and the existing roads.
The Air Raise Area contains no surface man -made structures with exception of a few old test
pits, the air raise itself, and a low voltage overhead single -phase electric line that leads to two
retail meters located to the north of the permit area. The electric line has no supports located on
the affected lands. As a result, there are no structures to protect from the operation, nor will any
ores be extracted from the surface, or near surface, within this permit area.
There are no recognized geologic hazards in the area nor does the site contain any
impoundments, high angle slopes, high or unstable embankments, highwalls, or potentially
unstable waste rock piles pile within the affected area. Therefore, there is no need to perform any
geologic engineering or evaluations of geologic hazards.
