One question I have is the access to site SST-1.
The previous map identified access to SST-1 from both SST-6 and SST-5. The revised map does not identify the
access to SST-1 not the length of road to SST-1. Please clarify if the access to SST-1 will be from SST-6 or
SST-5 and the proposed length of the road.
Thanks,
Jason
On Mon, Jun 3, 2013 at 12:33 PM, Koontz, Wendell <WKoontz @archcoal.com> wrote:
Jason
As directed by and in coordination with the USFS we have field verified and revised the access roads for the 2013
exploration drilling. These revisions better fit the lay of the land and minimize surface disturbance. This exercise
was necessary this spring so that thwe did not make decisions prior to the completion of the leasing action. I
attach a map of the revised alignments to supplement the Exploration Plan.
Major changes are noted as an additional 0.01 total acres of disturbance (13.96 vs 13.95 acres) on USFS lands
and an additional 0.03 acres of disturbance on Arch Coal property (0.66 vs 0.63 acres).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks
Wendell
Wendell A.
