2.04.10 (5) Rare and Endangered Plant Species
The species identified were validated by the Colorado State University herbarium. There
were no rare and endangered plant species; however, tulip gentian is listed as rare in the
computerized Plant Information Network of Colorado State University. Tulip gentian
was found only on the Saltgrass-Alkali scaton Association east of the area to be mined.
Consequently, it appears that there is no potential for impacts to rare and endangered
species.
