Weed management will continue to occur as needed, to ensure the stability and success of the reclamation process. Revesetation Plan Once mining is concluded on the Neilson Pit the pit will be blasted and regraded to a 3:1 surface. After a rough grading of the surface, broadcast seeding will take place on no more than nine and half acres. Seeding will be at a rate of 10 pounds of per live seed per acre with a post mining goal of fifty stems per acre. The reclamation seed mixture used contains sufficient diversity for ecological stability.
