The proposed operations
comply with the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended, the 43 CFR Subpart 3480
requirements for Resource Recovery and Protection Plans, and the conditions and terms of the
lease; therefore we approve this R2P2 of lease COC75914. We also find that the proposed
operation achieves maximum economic recovery of the Federal coal.
The R2P2 conforms to the Bureau of Land Management's land use plan for the Little Snake
Field Office and is in harmony with the management objectives to maximize the availability of
the Federal Coal estate, and to facilitate orderly, economic and environmentally sound
exploration and development of the coal resource.
The R2P2 for lease COC75914 is approved. The recoverable coal reserves for Lease COC75914
will be 1,308,287 tons.
If you have any questions, please call Jennifer Maiolo at 970 - 826 -5077.
Sincerely,
..
