SWSP renewal request, the Applicant shall demonstrate continued diligence in this effort
including the status in obtaining the proper bonds through DRMS.
Conditions of Approval
I hereby approve this substitute water supply plan, in accordance with Section 37 -90-
137(11), C.R.S., subject to the following conditions:
1. This SWSP shall be valid for the period of November 1, 2012 through October 31, 2013,
unless otherwise revoked, modified, or superseded by decree. A SWSP renewal request
must be submitted to this office with the statutory fee (currently $257) by August
31, 2013.
2. A well permit was obtained for the current use and exposed surface area at the site in
accordance with §37 -90- 137(2) and (11), C.R.S., permit no. 57723 -F.
3. The total surface area of the groundwater exposed at the site must not exceed 26.7 acres
during the approval period of this SWSP, resulting in evaporative losses of 76.38 acre -feet
for this plan period.
4. This SWSP does not permit any water use for dust control, aggregate production or any
other purpose, other than evaporation.
5. Total consumption at the site must not exceed the aforementioned amounts unless an
amendment is made to this plan.
6. Approval of this plan is for the purposes as stated herein. Any additional uses of this
water must first be approved by this office.
7. All releases of replacement water must be sufficient to cover all out -of- priority depletions
in time, place, and amount and must be made under the direction and /or the approval of
the water commissioner. The release of replacement water may be aggregated to
maximize beneficial use. The water commissioner and /or the division engineer shall
determine the rate and timing of an aggregated release.
8. All diversions shall be measured in a manner acceptable to the Division Engineer. The
Applicant shall install and maintain such measuring devices as required by the Division
Engineer for operation of this SWSP. In addition, the applicant shall maintain daily
records of all diversions, replacements, and the amount of water used for each particular
purpose. The applicant shall provide a report of these records to the division engineer
(DivlAccounting(c�state.co.us) and the water commissioner (Bill Schneider at
William. SchneiderCaD-state. co. us) on a monthly basis. The accounting must be submitted
within 30 calendar days of the end of the month for which the accounting is being made
and conform to the Administration Protocol "Augmentation Plan Accounting, Division
One — South Platte River' (attached).
In addition, the applicant shall verify that the entities making replacements are identifying
this use on their accounting submitted to our office. For the period of this plan, that entity
is the City of Aurora (WDID 0802593 — Aurora Reuse).
9. The name, address, and phone number of a contact person who will be responsible for
the operation and accounting of this plan must be provided on the accounting forms to
the Division Engineer and Water Commissioner.
10. Conveyance loss for delivery of augmentation water to the South Platte River is subject
to assessment and modification as determined by the division engineer.
