Pineda <br />Director <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve the partial <br />release of coal exploration bond submitted by Central Appalachia Mining, LLC for Notice of Intent <br />No. X- 2004 - 153 -13. The bond was submitted to cover reclamation costs of exploration drill holes <br />in Garfield County. An inspection showed that all disturbances associated with the drilling of 6 <br />explorations holes have been adequately reclaimed. Based on the Division's estimate, $41,031.00 is <br />required to cover the cost to reclaim the remaining three monitoring wells and associated access <br />roads. <br />The legal description for the project is as follows: Sec.33,34 T7S R102W and Sec.2,3 T8S R102W. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit <br />written, or a written request for an adjudicatory hearing before the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board, to the Division at the address above within 30 days of the second publication of <br />this proposed decision in The Daily Sentinel. <br />If you have any questions, please feel free to call. <br />Sincerely, <br />Elliott R.
