No. <br />Inspection Period: <br />Inspection Date: <br />CDMR Rules 4.09.1 (11) and 4.10.2(2) <br />Development Waste Temporary Disposal Area <br />First Quarter 2013 <br />3/29/2013 <br />General Description or Reference to Site Plan: <br />The Development Waste Temporary Disposal Area is located south of the Purgatoire River and west of <br />the main facility Access Road. This was permitted for temporary storage of mine development waste <br />until such time as a permanent disposal site, already permitted and approved, can be constructed. <br />Activity During Inspection: <br />Refuse has been placed in two foot compacted lifts as per approved plans. The operator <br />was shaping the side slopes and compacting the most recently placed refuse it the time of <br />inspection. <br />Drainage: (Discussion of springs. seeps, overland and channel flow, underdrain construction and /or <br />discharge, integrity of 100 -year 24 -hour drainage structures, and evidence of positive drainage). <br />Positive drainage is maintained on the surface of the DWTDA. No evidence of springs nor seeps <br />was observed. <br />Observation of Fill Construction: (Description of material, compaction, lift thicknesses, slopes, <br />and construction methods). <br />Coarse to fine - grained development waste rock has been placed and compacted acording <br />to approved plans. Either compaction testing will be completed before additional refuse <br />place occurs or waste will be moved to a permanent disposal site. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
