HISTORY <br />May 14, 2013 <br />Bob Oswald Y/ <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />mo/ <br />Re: Notice of 112 Hard Rock /Metal Mining Reclamation Permit Amendment Application Consideration Rio <br />Grande Silver, Inc., Bulldog Mine Operation, Permit No. M- 1977 -215 (CHS #64022) <br />Dear Mr. Oswald: <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated May 3, 2013 (received by our office on May 8, 2013) regarding the <br />subject undertaking. <br />Please note that as this undertaking involves federal oversight from the Rio Grande National Forest, it is their <br />responsibility to fulfill Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act as set forth in 36 CFR Part 800 <br />( "Protection of Historic Properties "). These duties include the identification of any historic properties (i.e. <br />cultural resources that are eligible to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places) within the area of <br />potential effects and determining whether the undertaking will have an effect upon such properties.
