66. Under section 34- 32- 103(8), C.R.S., "mining operation" means <br />"development or extraction of a mineral from its natural occurrences on affected land" <br />including, but not limited to, open mining, in situ mining, in situ leach mining, <br />surface operations, the disposal of refuse from underground mining, in situ mining, in <br />situ leach mining, and transportation, concentrating, milling, evaporation, and other <br />processing. The Operator's activities at the Mines after each Mine was converted to <br />intermittent status constituted mining operations. <br />ORDER <br />The Board ACCEPTS the Operator's Notice of Temporary Cessation, as <br />submitted, for each of the following mines: LP -21 Mine (Permit No. M- 1977 -305); <br />JD -9 Mine (Permit No. M- 1977 -306); JD -6 Mine (Permit No. M- 1977 -310); SR -13A <br />Mine (Permit No. M- 1977 -311); SR -11 Mine (Permit No. M- 1977 -451); and JD -7 <br />Mine (Permit No. M 1979- 094HR). <br />DONE AND ORDERED this —7 day of May 2013 <br />FOR THE COLORADO MINED LAND <br />RECLAMATION BOARD <br />Thomas E.
