Exhibit C — Pre- MininsE and Minine Plan MaD(s) of affected lands <br />A.) Marilyn Elrick now owns all adjoining surface areas around the Elrick Pit to the East and to the <br />North, except for the railroad property that runs through along the North side of the proposed area. <br />B.) To the North, there are railroad tracks, a fence that separates the pit area from the railroad right -of- <br />way. Please see map (Exhibit C(n) ) included. <br />C.) Please see map included. <br />D.) Including the entrance, pit road and the actual area being mined, the affected areas would be 14,752 <br />square feet. <br />E.) The types of vegetation covering the affected area are switchgrass, yellow blossom sweet clover, <br />cottonwood, cocklebur, hairy gold aster, wormwood, annual sunflower, Canada wild rye, wild licorice, <br />sandbur, Japanese Brome, Russian thistle, Russian knapweed, western wheatgrass and Louisiana <br />Sagewort. <br />F.) The land is owned by Marilyn Elrick. There are no manmade structures on the property other than the <br />fence line, The Y -W power lines, and the BNSF Rail line that run to the north of the pit area. <br />G - .n Please see maps included. <br />K.) Topsoil will be removed using a bulldozer, starting from the Southeast side of the Pit area and <br />stockpiled along the edge of the Surveyor Creek so as to protect the creeks natural flow and hinder <br />possible erosion. Gravel will be mined using the bulldozer from the south to the north and piled on the <br />north side of the pit for loading with a front end loader. <br />M.) There are no existing disturbances within and/or adjacent to the proposed pit area. <br />N.) The BNSF rail line runs East and West just North of the proposed pit area. Please see map included. <br />Y -W power lines run parallel with the railroad, approximately 100 feet from the rail line. The proposed <br />affected area would be at a minimum of 60 feet south of the Y -W power lines. <br />
