(v) No mulch will be used on the site.
(vi) There are no trees or shrubs on the site and none will be planted.
(d) Both process ponds and the haul road will remain after reclamation. The ponds will remain for
wildlife and the road will be used to reach the upper claims area. This existing road provides
access to other claims in the area.
(e) The tailings piles will be blended and placed back into the cut with a front end loader. The
loader will also be used to contour and grade the material to match the existing contour of the
slope. The tracked excavator will be used to place large cobble horizontally along the contoured
slope to help prevent riling from runoff and provide for stable reconfiguration prior to the
introduction of the organic cap. There will be no ditches or culverts to be excavated or
backfilled. The ponds will remain in place for future wildlife habitat.
(2) Kazel Mountain Mines Corp. has provided a reclamation bid for the project. The Company
successfully performed the reclamation of the site in 1990. A copy of the Company's bid is
included at the end of this section with the seed mix.
