You may find the answers in the permit file
and in the Annual Reclamation Reports.
Please find attached a plant Guide for Rubber Rabbitbrush published by the Natural Resource Conservation Service
(NRCS). Plants Database Conservation Plant Characteristic sheet for Silver sagebrush (available on the NRCS Plants
Database http: / /plants.usda.pov ). As you can see by the NRCS sheet, Silver sage is not reported to have any toxicity , "
Toxicity= None". Rabbitbrush has benefits to wildlife. After 30 years of reclamation experience the Division has
recognized the aggressive behavior of Crested Wheatgrass and Intermediate Wheatgrass. Although we do still allow
small amounts of these two introduced species in seed mixes, establishment of large amounts of these two species is
generally not the desired goal.
jawet H. When is it not an interim
reclamation sampling?
We are in Year 8 and anything that needs to be reseeded or planted needs to be done shortly.
Also Where are the 5 revegetation areas on the Vento Property per the report?
Why is there 33.87% Western Wheatgrass and not more Intermediate and Crested Wheatgrass based on the seed mix
and water requirements
Was the seed plan followed?
Please email or send me a copy of the seed miX used. I am not sure the one I have was the final one. I had the Natural
Reso9urce Office recommend what they use in Fremont County.
Does the Division COUnty ARTCAN anbd CHRNAU in the shrub stems and %cover requirement? That is all we have.
Cattle will not graxe this and wometimes when they do eat the leaves and young stems it is tixic.
Please answer these questions before Tuesday.
Thanks
