No topsoil will be stockpiled, so no topsoil stockpile
locations are shown on mine map. Clarification of this item has been added to
page 1 of Exhibit C Mine Plan.
2) If topsoil stockpile is to remain stockpiled for a period greater than 12 months
please specify what stabilization methods will be used to protect the stockpile
from erosion.
Salvaged topsoil will be immediately applied as plant growth medium on an area
prepared for reclamation. No topsoil will be stockpiled for any period of time.
3) Please address Rule 6.2.1 (2) (b) and (c), all maps submitted must be signed and
dated by the qualified mapmaker.
Copies of maps signed and dated by mapmaker and resubmitted.
4) The mine plan and reclamation plan show a "current overburden storage"
adjacent to the Mining Area 1 that appears to be outside of the proposed permit
boundary. Please specify if material from this storage is intended to be used to
reclaim any portion of the mining site. If the material is intended to be used to
support the mining operation or to be used in reclamation an amendment to the
application to incorporate the area into the proposed mine area is required.
No material from this area will be used in mine operation or reclamation.
