Box 483 Loretta Pineda <br />Paonia, CO 81428 Director <br />RE: NOI X- 2005- 217 -10, Abandonment and Final Reclamation Report, Bond Release SL -1 <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />On May 7, 2013, the Division received Drill Hole Abandonment and Final Reclamation Reports for the <br />Notice of Intent X- 2005- 217 -10. The reports are in compliance and satisfies rule 4.073(3) and <br />2.02.6(3)(b), respectively. It is noted that two bedrock monitoring wells were constructed on drill pad <br />DH -2010 and the access roads to DH -2010 and SS -9 remain. <br />Attached with the Drill Hole Abandonment Report is your request for coal exploration bond release for <br />NOI X- 2005- 217 -10. The Division currently holds a bond for this NOI in the amount of $73,685.00. <br />So that we may properly evaluate the success of the remaining reclamation at this site, we will conduct <br />the bond release inspection within 30 days and weather permitting.
