R$0.00 D$0.00 Recorder Board of County Commissioners Lake County, Colorado Statement of Motion File 08 -28 At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held on November 3, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. motion was made by Commissioner Olsen and seconded by Commissioner Schaefer to approve the Official Action Record file # 08 -28 to approve the Conditional Use Permit with the conditions set forth by the Lake County Planning Commission for the Hopemore Mine Tour. An amendment to the original motion was made by Commissioner Olsen and seconded by Commissioner Schaefer to adopt the following conditions: 1. Along with a liability waiver, all visitors to the site will sign a safety and property rules regulations sheet. 2. That a stop sign be required at the entrance to the county road. 3. That the applicant provide documentation of mine emergency response availability before issuance of the Conditional Use Permit from federal, state, local agencies and volunteer organizations. 4. That overnight parking be prohibited except for a caretaker. 5. That the applicant provide copies of all inspection reports from CDRMS, within thirty days of receipt, to the county. S. That the applicant provide an adequate number of port-a -lets per county requirements plus at least one ADA accessible toilet. 7. That this Conditional Use Permit be reviewed annually by the Board of County Commissioners in November for two years. Commissioner Olsen voted in favor of the amendment, Commissioner Schaefer voted in favor of the amendment and Commissioner Hickman voted in favor of the amendment. Commissioner Olsen voted in favor of the original motion, Commissioner Schaefer voted in favor of the original motion and Commissioner Hickman voted in favor of the original motion.
