R$0.00 D$0.00 Recorder <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Lake County, Colorado <br />Statement of Motion <br />File 08 -28 <br />At a regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners held on November 3, 2008 <br />at 1:00 p.m. motion was made by Commissioner Olsen and seconded by Commissioner <br />Schaefer to approve the Official Action Record file # 08 -28 to approve the Conditional Use <br />Permit with the conditions set forth by the Lake County Planning Commission for the <br />Hopemore Mine Tour. An amendment to the original motion was made by Commissioner <br />Olsen and seconded by Commissioner Schaefer to adopt the following conditions: <br />1. Along with a liability waiver, all visitors to the site will sign a safety and property rules <br />regulations sheet. <br />2. That a stop sign be required at the entrance to the county road. <br />3. That the applicant provide documentation of mine emergency response availability before <br />issuance of the Conditional Use Permit from federal, state, local agencies and volunteer <br />organizations. <br />4. That overnight parking be prohibited except for a caretaker. <br />5. That the applicant provide copies of all inspection reports from CDRMS, within thirty days <br />of receipt, to the county. <br />S. That the applicant provide an adequate number of port-a -lets per county requirements <br />plus at least one ADA accessible toilet. <br />7. That this Conditional Use Permit be reviewed annually by the Board of County <br />Commissioners in November for two years. <br />Commissioner Olsen voted in favor of the amendment, Commissioner Schaefer voted in favor of <br />the amendment and Commissioner Hickman voted in favor of the amendment. <br />Commissioner Olsen voted in favor of the original motion, Commissioner Schaefer voted in favor <br />of the original motion and Commissioner Hickman voted in favor of the original motion. <br />RECEIVED <br />SEP 17 2009 <br />
