MANAGEMENT
Please accept this letter as the 2012 Annual Hydrologic Report for the Fruita Loadout. This report is forthe
2012 calendar year.
No surface disturbance occurred at the Fruita Loadout during calendar year 2012. The permitfor the
Fruita Loadout was approved during the first quarter of 2012, however a instruction of the loadout has
been delayed. The loadoutwill be constructed after the McClane Canyon Mine obtains a coal sales
contract or after another mine expresses an interest is using the loadout. Neither event is expected to
occur in the foreseeable future.
The monitoring program for Discharge permit COR- 900152 requires only quarterly visual monitoring of which
results are reported in the annual report.
Water monitoring was suspended with approval of Technical Revision No. 1, which was approved on October
10, 2012.There was no discharge from the sediment pond or consumptive use during the year.
Please call with any questions.
Sincerely,
Tamme Bishop, P.E.
Project Engineer
Cc: Mike Boulay GJ
