(FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Topsoil depth is estimated to range from zero to 12 inches, locally. Where present, topsoil <br />will a salvaged and stockpiled at e upper side of the drill pad. Unce the drillpad is re- <br />eenteured and searified, the salvaged topsoil will be redistributed over the final graded <br />areas_ Fnr reclamation purposes, it is anc_imed that apnroximatp,J.y 4 to 6 inrhPS pf tppgnil <br />will be available for redistribution as growth medium. <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Drill holes will be abandoned in their entirety. All drill holes will be completely filled with <br />concrete, grout ni e grout to prevent any vertical movement <br />gFeundwateF Within the dFill hele, as well as to eliminate a post expleratien dangeF to <br />people and wildlife that may traverse the area_ The cnncreta or rout will ht-- placed <br />"bottom- upward" in each drill hole. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />The existing gate at the entrance of the reclaimed, pre- existing drill road will be left in <br />place to prevent motor vehicle access. The re- disturbed areas (road and drill pad) will be <br />returned o the contour and slope present prior to re-disturbance activities. Compacted <br />areas ww" be loosened as , iecessary by discing ai id left ii i a roughened conditio! , prior to <br />topsoil replacement and reseeding.
