For
your convenience, data from the last five quarters are also included in Table 1 as an attachment.
On February 7, 2013 water samples were collected from CEM -001, CEM -004 wells, and from
the C -Pit ponded water. Inspection of CEM 005 on March 8, 2013 indicated that the well did
not produce any water.
The C -Pit ponded water and well groundwater samples taken were analyzed for pH, chloride,
sulfate, dissolved solids, dissolved selenium and dissolved thallium. The samples were analyzed
for pH at the time of collection; this value is reported instead of the laboratory value due to hold
time changes that occur in pH values. Laboratory results summarized in Table 1 indicate that the
analytes were within the target levels for CEM 004, except for Chloride and Sulfates. A separate
report is being submitted concerning CEM 004.
If there are any questions regarding the above information or the attachments, please contact me
at (303) 823 -2115.
