Protection of Water Rh!hts and Use
As previously noted, PSCM's water supply withdrawals will not exceed their water rights. In
addition, mine drainage will have little or no impact on the water rights or use of others, since the
affected groundwater- bearing units are not used for water supply, and impacts to surface water
are minimal. Nonetheless, PSCM is committed to work with area landowners to restore, replace,
or provide reasonable compensation for any significant water sources that are adversely
impacted.
