As we discussed on the phone last week, the BLM
Grand Junction Field Office has required recent coal and uranium exploration drilling projects to not leave drill
hole markers protruding from the ground surface for public safety and visual resource concems. Please have the
operator remove the old tire and the metal stakes from the reclaimed drill holes flush with the ground surface.
Thanks,
Scott
State
of
Colorado
On Mon, Apr 29, 2013 at 11:15 AM, Russell - DNR, Elliott < elliott.russell@state.co.us> wrote:
Corey,
I have attached the report for the April, 24, 2013 bond release inspection of NOI X-2006-153-14.
Elliott Russell
Environmental Protection Specialist
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
http://mining.state.co.us/
303 - 866 -3567 ext. 8147
fax: 303 -832 -8106
elliottrussell@state.co.us
D.
