Coal \\ill be loaded from the working face by <br />Continuous miners into shuttle cars which will transport the coal to conveyor belt loading points. <br />Convevor belts \x111 then transport the coal to the surface coal handling facilities. <br />"The equipment to be used at the PSCM operation during the initial development will be limited <br />to Continuous rnininO equipment. <br />A typical continuous miner section will utilize the following equipment: <br />• Continuous Miner <br />• Shuttle Cars <br />• Roof Bolter <br />• Feeder- Breaker <br />• Electrical Load Center <br />• Mantrip Vehicle(s) <br />• LHD Scoop <br />• Parts Car <br />• Continuous Haulage System <br />• Rock Duster <br />• Miscellaneous Pumps, Face -Fans, and Tools <br />Miscellaneous support equipment such as pumps, nlantrip trucks. supply trucks, lube trucks, face <br />fans, and electrical distribution equipment will be used, as needed, as mining progresses. This <br />equipment fleet includes both diesel and electrical machinery. <br />A face -up area will be excavated to expose the Wadge coal seam to allow the four initial <br />development entries to be driven into the coal seam. Surface facilities will be constructed <br />adjacent to the portals and are expected to include. <br />• Mine Entrance and Haul Road <br />• Mine Security Building <br />• Parking Areas for Employees and Visitors <br />• Substation <br />• Material and Equipment Storage Yards <br />• Fuel and Oil Storage Area <br />• Rock Dust Tanks <br />Midterm Review 2.05 -4 Revision 04/2013 <br />
