It is located just above the old haul road culvert
crossing Annand Draw. Its TDS plot displays a decreasing trend.
- Spoil Spring 2 (YSSPG2). This spoil spring was discovered in May 2005
below Stock Pond 011A (i.e., above NPDES Pond 011) . It is normally dry
in the fall, but was also dry on its May 29, 2012 visit. Its TDS plot
displayed an increasing trend.
- Spoil Spring 3 (YSSPG3). This spoil spring was discovered in
September 2005 above NPDES Pond 012. Its TDS plot displays an increasing
trend.
- Spoil Spring 4 (YSSPG4). This spoil spring was discovered in June
2006, in the main channel that feeds NPDES Pond 012. It is located to
the north of Spoil Spring 3. Its TDS plot displays a decreasing trend.
- Spoil Spring 5 (YSSPG5). This spring was discovered in July 2011, in
the main channel that feeds NPDES Pond 014. Its TDS value then, 2590
mg /l, indicated that there may be spoil water in this spring. However,
the TDS values from Pond 014 in 2011 (680 min., 1233 avg., 1640 max.)
indicates that there was very little, if any, spoil water in this pond.
No flow was noted in 2012.
Comparison of Surface Water Quality to Water Use Standards.
