Hickenlooper
Governor
Mike King
Executive Director
Loretta E. Pineda
Director
We have received your application for a technical revision to your permit to conduct coal mining in
Colorado. Our initial review indicates that all preliminary items required by Rule 2.08.4(5) have
not been submitted. Thus, your application is incomplete for the purposes of filing as of April 26,
2013.
Permit text has not been updated.
Within the text of the permit document, reference is made to "the permit area" of "3,142 Acres ".
Pages with such references should be updated, (in some cases it may be appropriate to add rather
than replace text to avoid confusion in the future).
See pages 2.04 -1, 2.04 -49, 2.05 -2 and 2.05 -39g.
Map labels have not been updated.
All maps which show the permit boundary should have a label added referring to the map(s) with
the updated permit boundary — this a more realistic alternative than updating all maps which show
the permit boundary
In accordance with Rule 2.073(1), you have the opportunity to amend, review, or otherwise make
your application complete.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Leigh D.
