Legal Description: <br />a. This tract of land is located on Bent County Road LL described legally as the SE X of the NW /4 <br />S22, T225, R48W of the 6 principal Meridian. <br />a. Latitude (N) degrees 38 min 07' sec 19.74 <br />b. Longitude (W) degrees 102 min 47' sec 18.44 <br />b. The North Main Entrance to the Sharp Pit #2 is located on County Road LL at: <br />a. Latitude (N) degrees 38 min 07' sec 44.15 <br />b. Longitude (W) degrees 102 min 47' sec 18.44 <br />6.3.2 EXHIBIT B- Site Description <br />1. Site Description: <br />a. According to the Custom Soils Report, prepared on January 18, 2013 by the Bent County Soil <br />Conservation District, the existing mining site consist of 5.9 acres Minnequa Loam at 0 - 5 <br />percent slopes and approximately 3.9 acres Numa Clay Loam at 1- 3 percent slopes. It is <br />indicative of the Plains landscape at elevations between 3000 and 6000 feet. The mean annual <br />precipitation is 11 -14 inches. Please see the attached Sharp Pit Custom Soils report. <br />b. Not Applicable. There are no permanent man -made structures with -in two hundred feet of the <br />affected mining area. Therefore there are no permanent man -made structures identified on <br />Exhibit E map. <br />c. Not Applicable. There are no streams, springs, lakes, stock water ponds, ditches, reservoirs or <br />aquifers that would receive drainage directly from the affected mining area. <br />d. Not Applicable. This 110 Limited Impact Operation application does not require a wildlife <br />statement prepared by the Colorado Department of Wildlife. <br />6.3.3 EXHIBIT C- Mining Plan <br />1. Mining Plan: <br />The Sharp Pit #2 will remain active throughout the life of the mining period with intermittent periods <br />of inactivity based on production activity, stockpile inventory and demand. Boundary markers will be <br />located at each corner and at intervals.
