Introduction
EXHIBIT D
RIO GRANDE SILVER, INC
BULLDOG MOUNTAIN OPERATION
REVISED MINING PLAN
Rio Grande Silver (RGS) is proposing to add four additional "Affected Areas" G -J to
Permit No. M- 1977 -215. This permit lies in SW %, Section 25, T42N, R1 W, NMPM, of
Mineral County, Colorado. These additional "Affected Areas" will provide more acreage
for the Bulldog Mountain Operation. This additional acreage will be for future proposed
pipelines, structures and additional waste rock storage.
"Affected Areas" G and H are for the construction of a discharge pipeline from Bulldog
Mountain Operation to West Willow Creek. This pipeline will transport treated water
from a proposed water treatment plant. This water treatment plant will treat all water
that is pumped from the 9400 Decline Operation. We have added two "Affected Areas"
G and H for two different alignments. The preferred alignment is along the original
Homestake Mining pipeline. This pipeline was utilized during the historic mining to bring
fresh water up to the Bulldog Operation. This alignment is in the "Affected Area" H. If
conditions exist that we are not able to utilize the old pipe line alignment then we have
added "Affected Area" G. This alignment would go through Windy Gulch. This
alignment is not preferred due to the potential disturbance to the already reclaimed
Windy Gulch. This reclamation has been completed by the Willow Creek Reclamation
Committee.
"Affected Area" I is for the addition of mine support facilities and utilities to these and the
existing Bulldog Administration Building.
"Affected Area" J is for additional waste rock storage adjacent to the existing tailings
dam facility.
"Affected Area" D is being reduced in size to minimize the impact on adjacent
properties. The area was already included in our permit. The intended use for that area
is to provide room for pipelines and associated structures as well as additional waste
rock storage.
There are currently no changes being proposed in the existing mining plan by
this amendment. This is strictly for the purpose of securing the land package for
potential additional development.
