EXHI3IT <br />PATAI e • - <br />7. All equipment and machinery shall be equipped with spark arrestors and mufflers. <br />8. Permittee is responsible for all suppression costs for any fire resulting from their operations and practices. <br />9. Available topsoil will be stockpiled for pit rehabilitation measures. <br />10. The disturbed area will not exceed 10 acres. <br />11. All pits shall be marked as Moffat County material sites. <br />12. "No dumping" signs will be erected at the site. <br />13. Warning signs shall be placed where appropriate during operational phases to minimize hazards to passing <br />traffic. <br />14. Between operations, the pit walls shall be maintained at a slope ratio not to exceed 2111V, so as to <br />minimize slope failure potential and public safety hazards. <br />15. Yearly production figures for each pit shall be reported annually to the LSFO mining engineer. <br />16. Assignment of materials from these pits for other than Moffat County purposes shall be made only after <br />notification and approval from the Bureau of Land Management, Little Snake Field Office. <br />17. At the Field Office Manager's discretion, areas stripped of vegetation shall be re- seeded, after disking, with <br />the following mixture (per acre): <br />Western Wheatgrass <br />Intermediate Wheatgrass <br />Sheep (or Hard) Fescue <br />Cicer Milkvetch <br />Drilled Rate - PLS /lbs /ac <br />5.0 lb /ac = 37% <br />5.O lb /ac = 37% <br />3.O lb /ac = 22% <br />0.51b /ac = 04% <br />Alternate species must meet BLM approval prior to their use. <br />Broadcast Rate <br />PLS /lbs /ac <br />10.O lb /ac = 37% <br />10.0 lb /ac = 37% <br />6.0 lb /ac = 22% <br />1.0 lb /ac = 04% <br />18. When the pit has been exhausted, the items in 1.b. above shall be completed, and the pit access shall be <br />reclaimed. <br />
