The Leadville Mill <br />4.5.2 COMMUNICATION <br />Mill site communications are by cell phone and VoIP phones. No land line <br />communications are proposed. Internet communication is through a satellite <br />internet service. <br />4.5.3 SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br />The Lake County CUP stipulates that sewage disposal use the newly constructed <br />sanitary sewage lift station, connecting the mill office /safety /training /change house <br />facility to the Leadville Sanitation District sewage line that crosses the northern <br />portion of the property. The existing septic tank now serves as the holding tank for <br />the sanitary sewage lift station. See Figure 6 -2. During any construction or repairs <br />that render the sewage lift system inoperable, a chemical toilet will be rented. The <br />maximum number of employees expected to be in the mill operating crew at any <br />given time is five. <br />4.5.4 SOLID WASTE <br />M 1990 -057 <br />EXHIBIT C — MILL PLAN <br />Page 4 -20 <br />Solid waste (debris, scrap, etc.), as well as biodegradable and recyclable material, will <br />be stored in bins and periodically hauled to the Lake County Landfill. <br />4. 5.5 WATER <br />There are no permitted wells on the property. Process water will be hauled to the <br />property by contracted haulers until which time that water rights are <br />purchased /leased. <br />Bottled water will be provided to employees. Water for domestic and milling needs <br />will be purchased from Parkville Water District. No contract is required. <br />Water will be trucked to the site from a local construction water metering station <br />located in Leadville. The mill will require approximately 8- 10,000gal /day. <br />The mill maintains 2 -water tanks (see Figure 4 -2) within the plant, with a combined <br />capacity of 10,600gal. <br />Version 1.0 April 2013 <br />
