<br />Moffat County Mining, LLC (MCM), 29515
<br />Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado
<br />80467, has submitted an application for re-
<br />newal (RN13-06) of the existing active Mining
<br />and Reclamation Permit (Permit Number
<br />C-81-044) for the Williams Fork Mines.
<br />The mine permit area encompasses approxi-
<br />mately 6,361 acres, located approximately
<br />6-7 miles south of Craig, Colorado on both
<br />sides of State Highway 13. The Mine is des-
<br />ignated under "Active' permit status due to
<br />reclamation work completed in 2010, how-
<br />ever, active mining or reclamation activities
<br />are not occurring on site and current activi-
<br />ties are limited to environmental monitoring
<br />and maintenance of the existing lands and
<br />facilities. The Mine Permit Area is covered
<br />by the Round Bottom and Castor Gulch, Col-
<br />orado USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle maps
<br />and includes approximately four miles of
<br />State Highway 13, beginning in 11he
<br />SW11,SW1,i Section 21, T6N, R91W, and ex-
<br />tending through portions of Sections 20, 29,
<br />30, and 31 of T6N, R91W, and Section 6,
<br />T6N, R91W. The ownership, precise loca-
<br />tion, and boundaries of lands within the Per-
<br />mit Area are identified on pages 2.03-22
<br />through 2.03-31, 2.03-34, and Maps I and 2
<br />of the Permit Appication Package (PAP),
<br />which is available for review in the Moffat
<br />County Clerk and Recorders Office. The
<br />Permit Area encompasses all or portions of
<br />T5N, R91W, Sections 4, 5, 6, and 6; T6N,
<br />R91W; Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30,
<br />31, 32, and 33; T5N, R92W, Section 1; and
<br />T6N, R92W, Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36.
<br />Copies of the PAP (less confidential materi-
<br />als) are available for inspection at the above
<br />address and the office of the Colorado Dvi-
<br />sion of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety. A
<br />COPY of the Permit Renewal application is
<br />also available for public inspection at the:
