Pineda <br />Director <br />The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has received a revision for the West Elk Mine. <br />The Division deemed the revision complete on April 23, 2013 and issued the decision on the same <br />date. <br />The Mountain Coal Company has submitted a Minor Revision to the West Elk Mine's permit. The <br />revision proposes to add four power poles to an existing power line at the Sylvester Gulch fan bench <br />to eliminate slack in the line. There will be no change to the mines permit or disturbed boundaries. <br />There will be no change to the mine's liability as a result of this revision. <br />This revision is available for review at the Gunnison County Planning Department, 201 E.
