Hence Alternative Test C is passed. <br />Regards Alternative Test D, the cumulative number of native species encountered in the minimum <br />adequate number of 100 sq. m. (2 m x 50 m) samples (i.e. 23, based on total cover minus noxious <br />weeds) of 2012 BRB PSCM -2 was 60, greater than the weighted reference area average species density <br />(28.5 species per 100 sq.m.). <br />In addition, the cumulative number of native species encountered in the minimum adequate number of <br />100 sq. m. (2 m x 50 m) samples (i.e. 11, based on species density minus noxious weeds) of 2012 BRB <br />PSCM -2 was 38, which is also greater than the weighted reference area average species density (28.5 <br />species per 100 sq.m.). <br />Hence Alternative Test D is passed. <br />In summary, Mandatory Test A was passed as were Alternative Tests B, C and D and hence the species <br />diversity test as a whole is passed for 2012 BRB PSCM -2 under Phase III criteria. <br />21 <br />
