Hickenlooper <br />Governor <br />Mike King <br />Executive Director <br />Loretta E. Pineda <br />Director <br />Seneca Coal Company, LLC has applied for a bond release at the Seneca II -W Mine. The bond <br />release application was found complete by this Division on March 7, 2013. Seneca Coal <br />Company is requesting Phase I bond release on 138.7 acres. They are requesting a release of <br />approximately $1,090,188 of their financial warranty. The surface ownership is Federal, state <br />and private, and the coal mined was Federal. <br />The Division will be conducting a bond release inspection of the Seneca II -W Mine on Tuesday <br />June 4 th , 2013, at 9:00am. The purpose of the inspection will be to evaluate the Phase I bond <br />release area associated with SL -4.
