Summary:
MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT
For Season 2012
CRYSTALJACK MINING
PERMIT NO. M- 1993 -030
Prepared: 8 Apr 2013
Mechanized equipment was operated on Crystaljack mining properties from 17 to 26 July 2016,
using a John Deer 690 at Site 6 on the Two Point claim. The area was reclaimed and reseeded.
Inspections of reclaimed sites were carried out. Unauthorized digging is taking place on the
southwest corner of the Two Point claim.
Map Depicting Operations:
Attached are maps showing the ten claims covered under this permit, permit M- 1993 -030. The
maps show past excavations which have been reclaimed (green), currently open dig sites (shaded
orange) and proposed dig sites (either a blue button or a rectangle).
Current Disturbances (2012):
All dig sites on Crystaljack properties have been reclaimed except for access roads and proposed
dig sites.
Reclamation Summary (Includes 2012 Reclamation):
Since this project began in 1993, approximately 4.64 acres have been excavated and reclaimed.
All newly reclaimed sites have been reseeded the same season. These sites are then planted with
trees the following season. Only Site 5 (Site E) on Qui -Buc No. 1, Site 6 and Site 7 on the Two
Point and recent prospects and reclaimed roads have less than 80 percent growth.
Reclamation Completed During 2012:
Site 6 on the Two Point claim was excavated and reclaimed, a total of 0.1 acre.
Proposed 2013 Operations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on Glacier Peak Mining claims between early
May through early August. Mechanized operations will be limited to 10 working days on the
Crystaljack claims. We will use a John Deere 992 and/or 690 track hoe on the Ute at Site 1 and
at the Qui -Buc No. 1 Claim at Site 13. Maximum size of disturbance will be 1.12 acre but will
likely be .5 acre for this season. Additionally, the old access road to Sites on Qui -Buc No. 4 will
be closed by installing berms at both ends since this road serves only reclaimed sites and has
been closed by the U. S. Forest Service. Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation,
and claim maintenance will be continued throughout the season.
