The movement of the mining area to NHN is estimated to occur in 2013. Because additional <br />ponds will be built, and some existing ponds will be removed, reclaimed, or given back to the <br />landowner, the accounting spreadsheet includes a keypunching area that shows if the pond exists <br />and amount of the actual /revised surface area. The keypunching area also includes the basin <br />where the mine depletions being taken from. <br />In the summer of 2011, Pond 15 was built, but is mostly dry. A small water surface area of <br />0.09 acres was included. NHN Pond 1 will be added in 2013. NHN Ponds 2 and 3 will be built <br />in the period 2014 to 2018. In 2019 and beyond, many of the constructed ponds will be <br />reclaimed or given back to the landowner, who will then be responsible for evaporative <br />depletions. It is noted that there are excess CU <br />credits for April through October that can be stored in any of the ponds. During the non - <br />irrigation months of November through March, the ponds would operate in priority, with any <br />out -of- priority evaporation depletions being replaced through storage releases. Since the average <br />temperature in December, January and February is less than 32 degrees, the evaporation during <br />those months is estimated to be zero. <br />NH Mine Pond 9 is only used during storm events to capture runoff water before it leaves the <br />mine permit area. Any water stored is only kept for a few days before being released. <br />Consequently, the evaporation depletions from this dry pond are expected to be zero. <br />Z <br />
