JoEllen Turner
fy)
They are suppose to work Hand in Hand as the Act requires and landowner is suppose to be protected.
Most of these people here have never even read one of the publications because they didn't even know
they had to.
As a result of all of these things happening, and should have been prevented from the time they
removed Staats soils and took them to power plant for fill dirt, to allowing a public landfill, to stealing
prime farmland soils should never have happened. These miners and friends were also allowed to
come in on weekends and take dump truck loads of soils out of the permit which also should have never
happened.
Employees and neighbors and friends were all told that the MORGANS were trying to close the mine, all
VERY UNTRUE. Nothing like that ever happened. All the Morgans ever wanted was their soils left on
this property as provided by the lease and the ACT governing prime farmlands. We like others need the
coal mine. They provided many jobs, even to relatives as well as a source of cheaper energy. None of
this should have ever happened. When WFC submitted so many documentations that were FALSE to
the STATE and proof of these documentations were presented years ago at another informal hearing
held here and was taped.
As a result of all these fabricated truths, JoEllen Turner has constantly been under attack and the
community has been divided. Employees of Western Fuels has engaged in conversations stating that
since JoEllen Turner likes that farm so well, someone needs to cut her head off and bury her in the pit
and no one would even know. Other actions took place with WFC employees going to stores, where I
had petitions, and removing those petitions saying that JoEllen Turner has no right to challenge WFC.
Also petitions with names crossed off, numerous names by an employee of WI=C. Also one of the WFC
employees themselves went to the BANK and publically stated that he hated JoEllen Turner and some
should kill JoEllen Turner, He wished 1 were dead. This was from people that used to be friends, but
becau4eWFC has clearly made it that JoEllen Turner is trying to shut down the mine and they would all
ceive slips if sorne_ope-elid-not occurrences that have previously a• • • -d.
All we ever wanted was our property restored to the conditions and uses that we had prior to mining as
not only the law requires but agreements with WFC also require that. Th' • Is
objection and request for an informal hearing regarding their renewal of the existine perms y
attorney di not understand my request and so he presented that we did not want an informal hearing,
but we do because all of these people need to be involved in what is happening to our community.
Thank you for your time,
JoEllen Turner
Michael Morgan
RECEIVE
APR 16 2013
Division of Reclamation,
AAinir_.1 R gafAty
970 - 864 -7682
p.1
b j\ IDAI I
1444 )k- c r?
T)5\
