DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Phone: (303) 866 -3567
FAX: (303) 832 -8106
STATE OF COLORADO
COLORADO
D I V I S ION Of
RECLAMATION
MINING
SAFETY
April 15, 2013 John W. The report is in compliance and satisfies Rule 2.02.6(3)(b). It is noted that 6 drill holes and two
access roads have been completely reclaimed, while 3 bedrock monitoring wells and their access roads
remain. The Division also notes that question 5 of the Final Reclamation Report indicated that drill holes
had been converted to water wells, but the State Engineer's Well Permit Number and name and address of
user was not listed.
The Division has also received a partial bond release request, via email on April 15, 2013, for the coal
exploration bond of NOI X- 2004 - 153 -13. The Division currently holds a bond for this NOI in the amount
of $43,165.00.
So that we may properly evaluate the success of the remaining reclamation at this site, we will conduct
the bond release inspection within 30 days and weather permitting. We will contact Jim Stover to
schedule a time for when our inspection will be convenient for him.
Thank you for the timely submittal.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303)866 -3567 ext. 8147
Sincerely,
Elliott R.
