COLORADO DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203 ph(303) 866 -3567 <br />REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL REVISION (TR) CONTINUED FROM COVER SHEET <br />Permittee: Bent County <br />File No.: M - 1992 -113 <br />Site Name: Verhoeff Pit #2 <br />This pit is a major source of gravel for the eastern and western portion of Bent County. <br />Again, the materials are mined and placed in stockpiles for future use. This pit has more use and <br />mining than any other in the county; in any given year. <br />County TR# (DRMS Use only) <br />File No.: M - 2001 - 019 <br />Site Name: Bent County Pit #2 <br />This pit continues as one of the main sources of gravel for Bent County roads and it is <br />anticipated this will be the case for several years to come. <br />County TR# (DRMS Use only) <br />File No.: M - 2004 - 057 <br />Site Name: Reyher Trusts Pit <br />The Reyher Trusts Pit supplies a major portion of the gravel used on road maintenance in the <br />easterly section of Bent County. <br />County TR# (DRMS Use only) <br />File No.: M - 2005 - 039 <br />Site Name: Ridley Pit <br />There has been minimal mining conducted at this pit, the mining has continued along the <br />same mining line as the previous year. There has been some cleaning up of miscellaneous piles and <br />screening of previously mined materials on site.
